Woodshop Assembly Assistant (Temporary)

Eventscape is seeking two motivated Woodshop Assembly Assistants for immediate hire on a temporary basis. This temporary position will start with a duration of two month, with a possibility to extend based on production needs.

Ideal candidates should be available for full-time hours, have a great attitude, and demonstrate good attendance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities include:

• General labor
• Assist with material handling, staging, and assembly in a woodshop environment
• Perform wood cutting and wood preparation tasks
• Use hand or power tools as required
• Package and prepare items for shipping
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
• Demonstrate attention to detail and meet quality standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift materials under 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Work in shop environment with moderate noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.

MUST HAVES

• Availability for full-time hours.
• Safety shoes upon arrival.
• Positive attitude and strong attendance record.
• Willingness to learn.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read measuring tools.

HOURS: Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
